SEEDS OF FAITH
(A prayer for our parish community)
Lord God, you alone are the source of every good gift. We glorify your name with grateful hearts for all that you have given us; our daily bread, all that we have, and all that we are.
In faith we come to you time and time again, but you never turn us away. In good times and hard, difficult moments, in sickness and health, in times of comfort and in times of loss, may we sincerely trust your great power and unconditional love.
Today, we ask you, Lord, to fill our minds with trust, and our hearts with faith-filled love. As you Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one, so may your grace lead us to be a faith seed community of one heart and one mind, a witnessing people, and a nurturing family. May our mustard seeds of faith grow into large trees of love, joy, peace, hope, and compassion, following the example of your son, Jesus, who lives and reigns forever and ever. Amen.
(Please offer this prayer for the needs of our parish community every day during the mass and family prayer.)
