ADULT EDUCATION

"Jesus' Journey to the Cross" is our Lenten Adult Ed scripture  book. Groups are beginning this week.  If you are still interested but have not signed up please call Pat or Annette right away.  The cost of the book is $10.00  we ask for this to help with our parish expenses. First timers are gladly welcome.

Our next awesome Adult Ed classes!!  
March 6th 8am-4pm Scripture Class, this class offers a wonderful opportunity for all adults who are interested in learning more about their faith.  You are invited to join us for a day of study, faith sharing, and prayer--achance to enrich your faith and nourish your spirit.  we ask a fee of $10 which includes lunch. Registrations are now being taken, as I must have 15 for our guest speaker to be present. Registration forms are on the Adult Ed Board or you may call or email Pat (pat.raschio@gmail.com or 503-654-5449)  

Donna Cori Gibson will be here at St. John’s Sunday, April 25th at 3pm.  Be sure to clear this date and time! More details to follow. 

Mark Your Calendars! Matthew Kelly will speak at St. John the Apostle Church in Oregon City on May 15th at 7pm.  We are working with several other parishes to bring the internationally acclaimed speaker Matthew Kelly.  The title of his presentation is “Becoming the Best Version of Yourself.”  His talk is suited for middle school students, their parents, young adults and more seasoned adults.  Watch for more information in the weeks to come.

If you were not able to attend Leondrdo DePhillips presentation on the life of St. John Vianney there are still two opportunities not too far away. March 4th at 7pm at St. John Church in Vancouver, WA 8701 NE 119th St., 360-73-3325 or March 5th at St. Ceceilia Church in Beaverton, 5105 SW Franklin, 503-644-2619.  I was so moved by St. Luke’s production presentation and the spiritually of St. Vianney’s life I want to encourage you all to take the time to attend.
