ALTAR SERVERS

What We Do: Our altar servers assist our Priests and Deacons in all liturgical celebrations, most often in the Celebration of the Mass. Through their training, altar servers grow in the understanding of our faith and in their relationship to God and His Church. Servers develop many lifelong skills in this ministry. Most importantly, they are models of devotion and reverence in worship for the entire congregation. For most, this is their first ministry. It is an opportunity to live our faith in a giving, empowering way.
Parents, talk to your children about becoming altar servers. Parents may accompany new altar servers to the training class. Training is conducted in English. Trainees may bring an interpreter, or we will attempt to find an interpreter if requested in advance. Each server is assigned to Masses by a schedule that takes into account the server’s availability.
How to Join Us:
Eligibility: Servers must be baptized parish members, generally in the 4th to 12th Grade. Both boys and girls are welcome.
