CONFIRMATION
Confirmation preparation is a one year process for high school students . Classes begin in October and are held Wednesday from 7:00pm to 8:30pm, with the celebration of the Sacrament after Easter.
Weekly classes to deepen faith understanding, service opportunities, an overnight retreat, and prayer & rituals are some of the components of this process. Sponsors and parents are encouraged to take an active role by attending several classes with their candidate.
This process is not “graduation” from Faith Formation, but an opportunity to build upon what is already known about the Catholic Faith, to help the youth gain additional experience, and to help them in the direction of discipleship (living the Gospel).
