RCIA (RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR ADULTS)
RCIA, a process ofinitiation for those interested in the CAtholic Faith, began September 20, 2011.
RCIA: RIte of Christian Initiation for Adults is offered on Tuesday evening 7:00-8:30pm. Is is a process by which adults are received into full communion with the Catholic Church. The RCIA begins with the Pre-Catechumenate period of inquiry of an informal indtrouction to the Catholic Church, followed by the period of Catechumenate which includes a more formal preparation for full initiation. Then comes the period of Enlightenment and Purification intense spiritual preparation during the Lenten season in preparation for reception into the sacraments at the Easter Vigil.
RCIA for Teens: is a process for young people to meet and in a very comfortable environment, ask questions, have the opportunity for formal education on the Catholic Church and prepare for the Sacrament of initiation at the Easter Vigil.
RCIA for Children: This process is designed for children ten years old and older who have not received their sacraments. Classes meet every week at the parish. This process will introduce your child to thebasic teachings of the Cahtolic Church and prepare them for the Sacraments of baptism, reconciliation, and Eucharist.
