PASTORAL COUNCIL
Our Parish Mission Statement: “St. John the Baptist Catholic Community, inspired by the spirit of Christ, reaches out, educates, helps and nurtures people, as we worship and serve Our Heavenly Father.”
Pastoral Council, comprised of 12 parishioners, is the parish body responsible for providing a comprehensive plan for meeting the spiritual, educational, emotional and physical needs of the parish family and the social concerns of our community and to promote these pastoral actions. We share these responsibilities with the Archdiocese and its representative in our parish, the pastor.
The Pastoral Council in support of our overall parish mission is responsible for guiding and monitoring the parish’s strategic plan which currently includes committees focused on senior issues, church and facility accessibility, evangelization, and welcoming among several other areas.
